This cite has .pdf versions of many of these fantastic books, and they are FREE! My favourite is the Rob Miles CSharp Yellow Book. I have found it useful when teaching a concept that I have trouble understanding to the point of being able to explain it well, for he explains concepts very clearly! (Also a nice thing to throw at those students that are always done their assignment early!) http://www.csharpcourse.com/ This is a great YouTube channel for teaching computer science concepts. As an added bonus, it also has a variety of language options! My two favourite videos are "The Orange Game" and "Santa's Dirty Socks". http://www.youtube.com/user/csunplugged?feature=watch The Manitoba Computer Science Curriculum: http://www.edu.gov.mb.ca/k12/cur/cs/framework.pdf |
